According to TuttoJuve, Juventus could sell Adrien Rabiot to Newcastle in January in a £25m move, before signing a Tottenham target to replace him.
What’s the story?
Well, the Italian news outlet believe Rabiot to Newcastle is a possibility in January, where he would earn €10m-a-year (£8m-a-year).
TuttoJuve then add that Juventus would target Aurélien Tchouaméni to replace Rabiot.
Interestingly, Calciomercato believe Tchouaméni is wanted by Tottenham, with the rising prospect set to cost £35m.
Newcastle have just sacked Steve Bruce, and with the backing of the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, they are ready to make big signings.
Ousmane Dembele is already in their sights, with PIF prepared to offer him €15m-a-year to join the Magpies from Barcelona (£12.7m-a-year).
Newcastle should ignore Adrien Rabiot and go for Tottenham target

In our view, Tchouaméni looks capable of becoming one of the best on the planet one day, and is already performing at a ridiculously high level.
The 21-year-old is already a 5-cap France international, and played a huge role as Didier Deschamps’ side lifted the UEFA Nations League recently.
In Rabiot’s case, he is 26, has much less promise, and seems to be a problematic figure.

As ESPN detailed, he was suspended by Paris Saint-Germain for troublesome behaviour, before being sold to Juventus.
The last thing Newcastle need is a bad egg to sour the joyous mood on Tyneside right now.
In our view, with Rabiot set to cost £25m, we’d much rather spend an extra £10m to meet Tchouaméni’s £35m asking price.
