According to The Sun, Pierluigi Gollini breached UEFA regulations in the 2-2 draw between Tottenham and Rennes on Thursday September 16th.
What’s the story?
Well, there was an issue with the £25,000-a-week goalkeeper’s gloves in the UEFA Conference League clash recently.
The Reusch branding on his gloves was deemed too big for UEFA’s logo regulations, which means Tottenham have now received a warning.
If this happens again, Spurs are likely to be fined by UEFA.
How strange.
UEFA can’t seem to issue proper punishments for those involved in racist chanting, but can spot a brand on Gollini’s index finger with ease.
Nevertheless, at least the north Londoners have only escaped with a warning for this minor offence.
What should Tottenham do with Pierluigi Gollini?

In our view, Gollini isn’t getting enough game time in order for Spurs to make a decision on him once the season is over.
The Italian joined on a season-long loan from Atalanta back in July, and Fabio Paratici has negotiated an option-to-buy once the loan ends.
However, will Spurs see enough of Gollini before then to make a decision?

The 26-year-old has only made four appearances so far this season, with all of them coming in cup competitions as Hugo Lloris is No.1.
Unless Tottenham go far in each cup competition, we fear a hasty decision will have to be made over whether or not to keep Gollini in north London.
It will also be a potentially pivotal call, as Lloris finds himself out of contract in June – the month when Gollini’s loan spell ends.
