Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Will Norris is closing in on a move to Burnley, according to the Clitheroe Advertiser.
Molineux was a very different place when the 26-year-old shot-stopper moved to the Black Country back in the summer of 2017.
In the space of three seasons, Wolves have been transformed from Championship also-rans into Europa League quarter-finalists, putting one of the most ambitious footballing projects on the continent into practice.
Norris failed to overthrow John Ruddy between the sticks during his debut season at Molineux and, once Portugal international Rui Patricio moved to England, he must have known that a place in Nuno’s ranks would move even further out of reach.
According to reports in Lancashire, however, Norris is set to be offered a fresh start with Burnley expected to announce the signing of a man who has just one year left on his contract.

The 6ft 5ins glovesman, who endured a difficult season on loan at Ipswich Town last time out, will replace Joe Hart in Sean Dyche’s squad.
And if Nick Pope makes a move to Chelsea, as has been mooted in the media, Norris could harbour some hope of battling Bailey Peacock-Farrell for a place in Burnley’s starting XI.
