Everton’s Premier League misfit Moise Kean is in talks over a return to Paris Saint-Germain though his situation at Serie A giants Juventus threatens to complicate matters, as reported by Tuttomercatoweb.
When announcing the imminent departure of Paulo Dybala a couple of weeks ago, Juve CEO Maurizio Arrivabene admitted that the £62 million January arrival of Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina was a major factor in the club’s decision not to extend the Argentine’s contract.
But if a player as lavishly talented as Dybala cannot find room to grow at the Allianz Stadium with Vlahovic the posterboy of a new-look Juventus, what hope does Moise Kean have?
It wasn’t supposed to be like this.
Kean, the youngest player to score a goal for the Italian national team in around 60 years, returned to club where he made his name last summer. The hope was, three years after that ill-fated £27 million move to Goodison Park, that Kean would be a man reborn in familiar surroundings.
Instead, he’s scored just four goals in 25 Serie A games. And the critics are sharpening their blades, ready to twist the knife.
Has Moise Kean played his final game for Everton?
“Kean is useless,” Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri said after Juventus lost to Inter Milan in January’s Supercoppa Italiana final.
“He could probably start for someone like Spezia or another team that’s fighting relegation. That’s his level.”
Kean re-joined Juventus with a £24 million obligation-to-buy clause in his contract. According to Calciomercato, both the player and the club are now hoping to find a way to wriggle out of that agreement.

Kean has held talks with another of his former clubss – Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG – but there are a lot of hurdles that must be cleared before the 22-year-old can board a flight to Paris.
PSG, TMW claim, must first find a buyer for Mauro Icardi.
Furthermore, Les Parisiens will have to negotiate a permanent deal with Everton for a player who’s £24 million price-tag is starting to feel about as oversized as a Justin Bieber blazer.

Kean, in his defence, did score 17 goals during an excellent loan spell at PSG last season.
Furthermore, Corriere dello Sport believe that Juventus have already decided on a replacement for Kean; Sassuolo poacher Giacomo Raspadori.
