Dele Alli is increasingly likely to stay at Tottenham Hotspur after his potential move to PSG has stalled, the Telegraph say.
PSG were in talks with Tottenham over taking the midfielder on loan for a season, but the French club now feel that the loan deal is simply too expensive.
As a result, PSG are set to pull out of the transfer, and Alli looks likely to remain at Tottenham for the campaign.
That puts pressure on Alli to find his feet at Spurs sooner rather than later.
The England international has slipped down the pecking order at Spurs and has not even featured in Jose Mourinho’s last two match day squads.
Alli is likely to play for Tottenham tonight in the Europa League, but he is really fighting for his place now – with both Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele seemingly ahead of him in the battle for places.

The news that he is set to stay at Spurs for the season could actually turn out to be a boost for Mourinho’s side in the long-term though.
If Alli can get back to his best he still remains one of Tottenham’s finest players, and his recent omissions could be what was needed to motivate him to find his top form again.
