Tottenham Hotspur might have an advantage over Arsenal when signing Paulo Dybala.
Both North London outfits are interested in the Juventus attacker.
Dybala is set to be one of the most coveted free transfers of the upcoming summer due to the fact that his contract expires in Turin in June.
However, Spurs might have an edge over Arsenal.
That’s because FC Inter News has reported that the Argentina international does not want to join the Gunners – or Newcastle United, for that matter.
The report adds that there’s a legitimate chance of Dybala going to Inter Milan.
Tottenham talks
It was reported last week that the Lilywhites were negotiating with the 28-year-old’s agent ahead of what would be an insane coup for Antonio Conte’s outfit.
Okay so Dybala – who earns £222,000 per week – hasn’t been ripping up European football as regularly as he did a few years ago but, at 28, he remains in the prime of his career.
Tottenham don’t have an advantage merely because of the talks that have already taken place.
But Daniel Levy very nearly brought the South American to North London during Mauricio Pochettino’s reign, only for the transfer to collapse late in the window.
However, with Arsenal and Newcastle doing nothing for Dybala, maybe now Spurs can finally get their man.
