Arsenal are mulling over whether to sign Mitchel Bergkamp, according to a report.
The 22-year-old, who is son of iconic Gunners striker Dennis, is a free agent after being released by Almere City, who played in the second tier of Dutch football.
And according to Goal, Arsenal have invited the midfielder for a trial.
The report adds that Bergkamp has been training with Steve Bould’s Under-23 side at London Colney in recent days.

Mitchell’s father scored some of the greatest goals that the Premier League has seen during his 11-year spell in North London from 1995 to 2006.
In all, Bergkamp senior scored 120 times for Arsenal, in addition to winning three Premier League titles and four FA Cups.
The 51-year-old also has a statue of himself outside the Emirates Stadium, though he never played a competitive game there, having retired the same year as the move from Highbury.
