According to La Voix du Nord (via GFFN), Wolves-linked Renato Sanches could leave LOSC Lille in January after some major financial problems at the club.
The Ligue 1 outfit – owned by Elliott Management – are seriously struggling from a financial aspect.
LOSC Lille currently have debts in the region of €130m (£117 million) and €200m (£180 million) according to GFFN.
It is said that the French club owe Elliott Management at least €130m (£117 million) in loans, which president Gérard Lopez said he would recoup in player sales.
However, COVID-19 meant that Lopez could only sell Victor Osimhen and Gabriel Magalhães, when he’d hoped to cash in on around six players.
So, what does this mean for Wolves?

Well, Calciomercato revealed back in early November that Nuno Espirito Santo is keen to sign Sanches from LOSC Lille.
The Portugal international – who cost €25million (£22.4 million) – was the subject of a €70 million (£63 million) bid from an English club over the summer, according to La Voix du Nord.
LOSC Lille are probably wishing they accepted that now.

All signs are pointing to a mass exodus of players at LOSC Lille as finances become slimmer and slimmer.
There has been nothing to say that Sanches is definitely leaving in January.
However, the former Bayern Munich man is arguably the club’s biggest asset, so you would presume he’d be the first player they cash in on.
