Well it seems like Tottenham Hotspur are gearing up to announce Dejan Kulusevski.
The Juventus winger completed a medical at Tottenham last night.
Kulusevski will join Spurs on an initial loan deal from the Italian giants, with Fabrizio Romano reporting two days ago that they’ll have to pay £33 million to sign him on a permanent basis this summer.
These days, unveilings are just as exciting as the signings themselves as clubs figure out incentive ways in which to show off their new player on social media.
And according to The Standard [9.31 am], Kulusevski’s transfer to Tottenham is so advanced that he and the club’s content team are planning the unveiling this morning.
Striker?
The report from Dan Kilpatrick has added that Antonio Conte hasn’t ruled out signing a striker.
Harry Kane is the Lilywhites’ solitary striking option this season and drafting in some asssitance to relieve him of the goalscoring burden could do wonders for their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League come May.
It’s a difficult sell because Conte and Fabio Paratici effectively have to convince a target to ride the bench, because he isn’t going to play ahead of the 28-year-old in North London.
However, this is strictly about depth and adding another number nine would certainly fatten the Lilywhites’ squad.
