The Yorkshire Evening Post report that attacker Bobby Kamwa is expected to leave Leeds United in the summer on a free transfer, when his contract expires. The African-born ace has failed to feature for the 23’s this season.

Kamwa, 21, has struggled over the past few seasons with injury – finally having a decent run of form for the 23’s last season as Mark Jackson’s side gained promotion. In 10 games, he scored two goals for the second string.

But this season, he has failed to feature for Jackson’s side and there is certainly no chance of a first-team breakthrough. The 23’s have just been bolstered in the final third, with the signing of Mateo Joseph Fernandez.

The Yorkshire Evening Post report that along with Josh Galloway – who has joined FC United of Manchester on loan – Kamwa could leave the club for nothing in the summer when his contract expires.

Kamwa set to leave Leeds: Striker needs move for his career

The powerful forward simply has to leave Leeds this summer – and if not, sooner. The striker needs game time with his career at a standstill. At Leeds, there is simply no chance of first-team, or seemingly, Under-23 football.

A move to a Football League club is most-likely for Kamwa, with there being plenty of potential in the player when he has been given a chance. The likelihood is that he will have to go on trial first to win a contract.
