The Young Boys hitman is reportedly attracting attention from Leicester City and Southampton.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Southampton and Leicester are both weighing up summer swoops for Young Boys striker Roger Assale.
The 24-year-old has been in fine form for his club this season, chipping in with 21 goals and 14 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions thus far.
The Daily Mail claim that the Foxes and the Saints have sent scouts to watch Assale in action this season, and they have been impressed with what they have seen.

The 11-capped Ivory Coast international is not an orthodox centre-forward in the sense that he does not act as a focal point for his team.
Standing at just 5ft 6in tall, Assale excels when running in behind the opposition’s defence, rather than playing with his back to goal.
That type of directness would certainly help add some potency to either Southampton or Leicester’s attacking play.

The report from the Daily Mail claims that Young Boys are willing to sell their prized asset for just £12 million, a fee that would represent excellent value in today’s day and age.
With the summer transfer window just a couple of months away, this will certainly be one for fans of the two Premier League clubs to keep a very close eye on.
