According to The Sun, Burnley are keen to bring back former Tottenham Hotspur fullback Kieran Trippier in the upcoming transfer window.
Trippier made a name for himself at Burnley before joining Tottenham.
After a frustrating campaign in North London in 2018/19, Spurs decided to cash on in him with Trippier joining Atletico Madrid in a £20 million deal.

The England international has made 22 starts in all competitions at Atleti this season.
Trippier has been a success in Spain. He started the Champions League knockout game at Anfield just before the Covid-19 suspension as Diego Simeone’s side defeated Liverpool 4-2 on aggregate.
But the Sun claim he has been house-hunting in England ahead of a potential return.
Burnley would reportedly ‘love’ to have him back at Turf Moor. Trippier’s wages, however, may pose a stumbling block for Sean Dyche’s side while Atleti seek £20 million for him.
Tottenham’s decision to sell Trippier was questionable. With hindsight, many may have expected his replacement Serge Aurier to have performed better.
The Ivory Coast international has made 22 Premier League starts. Going forward, he has posted one goal and a decent tally of four assists.
Aurier, however, has struggled at times defensively. Spurs have kept just one clean sheet in Aurier’s last 11 appearances for the North London club.
