Reported Newcastle United and Everton target Jesse Lingard is set to be allowed to leave Manchester United with Donny van de Beek arriving, the Daily Mail say.
United are expected to complete the big-money signing of Van de Beek in the near future, which will reportedly mean that the sale of Lingard is sanctioned.
The attacking midfielder has been linked with both Newcastle and Everton this summer, with both clubs thought to be keen to tie up a deal.
90Minutes claimed back in May that Newcastle and Everton were among the clubs chasing the England international, who has had a £20 million asking price put on his head (Daily Mirror).
Whether Newcastle or Everton will push through a deal now remains to be seen, but they were tipped as potential suitors earlier this summer.
The difficulty for Newcastle is simply their lack of budget, as the Magpies have very minimal funds to spend.

Everton, on the other hand, appear to be targeting James Rodriguez who is unquestionably a more exciting target than Lingard, in terms of reputation and technical ability.
But Lingard knows the league well and with Everton so poor in the centre of the pitch last term, he could still become a potential option, if Carlo Ancelotti wants further additions in that area.
