Bayern Munich have now reportedly made Tottenham striker Harry Kane their main transfer target for 2023, with the Bundesliga giants keen to sign a world-class attacker to lead their line.
According to the Munchner Merkur, the Bavarian side have settled on Kane as their priority in the market for next year, with Bayern linked with the England international in the most recent summer window, though no bid or official move was made by the European giants.
With Kane yet to sign a new contract with Tottenham, Bayern could be in an excellent position to sign the 29-year-old striker in 2023, especially if Antonio Conte is unable to bring silverware to north London despite Spurs’ strong start to the new footballing season.
Tottenham are currently unbeaten in the Premier League heading into the first international break of the season, and for Bayern, they will be hopeful that the English side extends their trophy drought to 15 years in their bid to sign Kane in 2023.

Bayern have endured one of their worst starts to a Bundesliga season in quite some time with Julian Naglesmann’s side winless in their last four league matches, with the German champions currently sat fifth in the standings and five points off early leaders Union Berlin.
Indeed, signing Kane would be quite the move from Bayern, and even with the striker earning a reported £200,000-a-week at Tottenham, the appeal of playing for such a massive club and one who wins regular silverware could be too great for the England captain depending on what happens this season.
Harry Kane could sign for Bayern Munich if Tottenham bottle it this season

After Kane’s failed attempt to join Manchester City last summer, many expected the forward to remain with Tottenham for the rest of his career, yet with Bayern now seemingly stepping up their interest in the 29-year-old Premier League superstar, events this season could lead the attacker down the road to moving to Germany.
As we know, Kane is yet to win a single piece of silverware for Tottenham in his entire career, and with Bayern regular Bundesliga champions and rivals to Spurs for the UEFA Champions League, signing for the German giants could be an appealing move for the striker next summer, where he will be 30.
