Reported Arsenal target Marcus Rashford has decided to stay at Manchester United, according to The Sun.

Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Twitter in March that Rashford is considering his future at Manchester United.

90min then reported that Arsenal are among the clubs who are keen on securing the services of the 24-year-old England international forward, who earns £200,000 per week as salary at the Red Devils (Spotrac).

However, The Sun are now reporting that Rashford will stay at Manchester United after being assured that he will get the chance to impress incoming manager Erik ten Hag in pre-season training.

The striker is reportedly confident and optimistic about doing well and playing regularly under Ten Hag at Old Trafford next season.

Marcus Rashford blow for Arsenal

In our opinion, this report is a blow for Arsenal in their pursuit of Manchester United striker Rashford.

The striker has not been at his best for a whil nowe, and a move to Arsenal and working with manager Mikel Arteta could rejuvenate him.

However, it seems that Rashford wants to stay at United.

That is a blow for Arsenal, who need to sign two or three new strikers in the summer transfer window.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left for Barcelona in the January transfer window, while Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season.
