Everton target Diogo Dalot was not included in Manchester United’s Europa League squad last night.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did not confirm the reason for Dalot’s absence, although the Manchester Evening News have now suggested that he has suffered a ‘set-back’ and is injured again.
His omission appears to be good news for Everton, even if it was down to an injury problem.
Dalot is very much fighting for his future at Old Trafford, and he is hardly doing a great job of persuading Solskjaer to keep him, if he has picked up yet another injury.
Foot Mercato claimed that Everton were keen to sign Dalot, and were planning to make their move in the near future, just two weeks ago.

The £19 million right-back (BBC Sport) has struggled for game time this term, and it could be that he has already played his last game for the club, if his injury is serious.
At Everton he would still face a fight for a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s side, if he was to make a move.
Everton have Seamus Coleman and Jonjoe Kenny who can play right-back at the club already, meaning Ancelotti’s options already appear strong.
