According to The Sun, Fabio Carvalho has decided to leave Fulham, with Leeds and West Ham monitoring the wonderkid’s situation.

What’s the story?

Well, this is encouraging news for Leeds and West Ham, but a devastating update for Fulham and Marco Silva.

The 19-year-old has rejected Fulham’s latest offer, with his current terms set to expire in June 2022.

Insiders described the latest contract offer as a ‘massive’ one, so Carvalho clearly has no intention of staying at Craven Cottage.

It was the Daily Mail who wrote that the Hammers and the Whites were keen on signing Fulham’s No.28.

The Sun add that Real Madrid are also eyeing the teenager.

Impressively, the England Under-18 international – who was born in Portugal – has scored three goals in six Championship outings this term.

Sadly, a foot injury has prevented the precocious Leeds and West Ham target from adding to that tally.

Leeds or West Ham could land a gem in Fabio Carvalho

Opportunities like this do not come around often in football, so Marcelo Bielsa and David Moyes must fight tooth and nail to sign Carvalho.

The attacking midfielder looks destined for the top, and he clearly believes in himself as well.

Carvalho is aiming to win himself a Ballon d’Or within a few years, which is quite the aspiration seeing as he’s only 19 (The Athletic).

Nevertheless, he has shown during his time in west London that he is more than capable of reaching such heights later on in his career.

If Leeds or West Ham can get him to Elland Road or the London Stadium, then they must give themselves a pat on the back.

What a signing it would be.
