Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of signing Josh Keeley from St Patrick’s Athletic, according to Pundit Arena.
The report has claimed that the 19-year-old goalkeeper will undergo a medical at Tottenham and then finer details of the deal will sorted before the transfer is complete.
The Republic of Ireland Under-19 international goalkeeper will reportedly move to Tottenham next month and will initially be part of the North London club’s youth team.
Josh Keeley’s one for Tottenham’s future
In our view, Josh Keeley is one for the future for Tottenham Hotspur and not for the short term.
After all, Keeley is only 19 and is just starting his career.
Tottenham have a very good academy, and there is a path through to the first team for those who are talented and promising.

Just look at Harry Winks.
If Keeley makes the move to Tottenham this summer, then he should work hard in training and for the youth team in the coming months.
And, perhaps more importantly, he needs to be patient about his chances in the first team.
Hugo Lloris is the Tottenham first-choice goalkeeper at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and is also the club captain.
Tottenham are also about to sign Fraser Forster on a free transfer.
