Report: 19-year-old could get chance in Arsenal’s first-team next term, striker to be loaned out

Emile Smith-Rowe may be given his chance in Arsenal’s first-team next season, while Tyreece John-Jules is likely to be given another loan spell, according to Football London.

Both Smith-Rowe and John-Jules are tipped to have bright futures at Arsenal, and have impressed on loan spells.

Smith-Rowe has been sent to Huddersfield Town, while John-Jules is at Lincoln City.

Smith-Rowe, in particular, looks a very exciting talent – and it is suggested that he could be kept around by Mikel Arteta next term.

Arteta has proven willing to give Arsenal’s youngsters a chance in their senior squad, with Eddie Nketiah being kept at the Emirates Stadium after being recalled from Leeds United.

Arsenal have also played youngster Bukayo Saka, Reiss Nelson and Gabriel Martinelli regularly this term.

Smith-Rowe is a creative midfielder, and if Mesut Ozil does depart, he may be one from the academy who could step up and fill that void.
