Wolves have made a deadline day loan move for Arsenal and Liverpool target Renato Sanches.
According to the Atheltic, Bruno Lage’s side have made a late move to sign the LOSC Lille star. The 24-year-old midfielder will be brought in on a season-long loan if Wolves can complete a deal before tonight’s deadline.
The Ligue 1 champions have been open to offloading Sanches for most of the window, and Wolves now appear to have won the race for the midfielder.
Arsenal and Liverpool have are both eager on Sanches. As reported by CalcioMercato, Lille would have accepted an offer of €30m (£25m) for the 24-year-old midfielder.
However, neither side submitted an official offer for the former Bayern Munich star. And Wolves have swooped in at the eleventh hour to sign Sanches from Lille. Lage had recently stated he wanted to sign more players before the closure of the window.
With the future of Ruben Neves up in the air with Arsenal and Manchester United both keen on the midfielder, Sanches could be a replacement for the former Porto star at Wolves.

The West Midlands side have got off to a terrible start to the season. Wolves currently sit 18th-place in the Premier League. However, their displays against Tottenham and Manchester United have been impressive.
And with Sanches potentially joining Wolves in the coming hours, the Molineux side now have a much-needed boost in both midfield quality and depth.
