Everton have been heavily linked with the centre-back in the summer, and it is claimed that ‘everything’ suggests that he will be moving to Goodison Park.
Barca are apparently determined to get Todibo off their books, and now want him sold quickly.
While Everton’s interest has ‘frozen’ in recent times, reports in Spain suggest that they are expected to land the French centre-back, who spent last season on loan at Schalke.
Todibo will cost Everton around £18 million, if Carlo Ancelotti’s side are to sign him, and he could be an appealing addition.
Everton need to add depth in central defence, even if Jarrad Branthwaite’s emergence towards the end of the season was a boost.
Todibo impressed in the Bundesliga last term, and if he was partnered with Mason Holgate, Everton could have a very exciting long-term pairing at the back to build their side around for the years ahead.
