Inter Milan have made Matias Vecino available for transfer with West Ham United and Aston Villa interested in the Uruguay international, as reported by Sport Mediaset.
Christian Eriksen is not the only seldom-seen Nerazzuri midfielder who may be on his way to England this month.
While the former Tottenham star is up for sale after struggling to find a role in Antonio Conte’s restrictive 3-5-2 formation, Vecino also appears to have one foot out the door.
The South American dynamo has not made a single appearance in 2020/21 due to a serious knee injury which required surgery and a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
With Nicolo Barella, Roberto Gagliardini, Marcelo Brozovic and Stefano Sensi now ahead of him in the pecking order, Mediaset reports that Inter will not stand in Vecino’s way if he wants a fresh start after four years at the San Siro.

Aston Villa and West Ham have both made offers (Calciomercato).
Vecino’s blend of technique and tenacity should, in theory, make him a perfect fit for Dean Smith or David Moyes. The 41-capped midfielder is similar in some ways to John McGinn, capable with the ball at his feet but also a ferocious competitor and, when fully fit, a nightmare for opposition players.
The Daily Star reported a few months back, when Vecino was offered in vain to Tottenham Hotspur, that Inter wanted a fee of £18 million.
