According to Marca, Barcelona forward Martin Braithwaite could rejoin Leganes, despite being offered to Leeds, West Ham and West Brom.
The Mirror (19 November, page 57) revealed that the Denmark international had been offered to the Premier League trio, amid a difficult time for the ex-Middlesbrough striker in La Liga.
Braithwaite is yet to start a La Liga game this season, with only five substitute appearances to his name, totalling 44 minutes of football.
The 29-year-old – who cost Barcelona £15 million – has also played just a minute of Champions League football.
As a result, Marca have revealed that Leganes are interested in re-signing their former attacker, with the move described as a ‘welcome option’ for both clubs.

Whether that means Leeds, West Ham or West Brom will miss out on the Esbjerg-born forward remains to be seen, although in our view, Leganes are probably best-placed to land Braithwaite given their history with him.
If either of the Premier League trio sign the Dane, they should be wary of how he last fared while playing in England.

In 40 appearances for Middlesbrough, Braithwaite only scored nine goals before being sold to Leganes.
As Marca state, Barcelona only signed him as an emergency option following injury to Ousmane Dembele, and his career has stalled since the Spanish giants’ leading options regained full fitness.
