According to Mundo Deportivo, Wolves could soon lose Arsenal target Ruben Neves as he now wants to leave Molineux.
Arsenal target Ruben Neves wants out
Well, the Portugal international is clearly disillusioned with life at Molineux as Wolves sit 17th in the Premier League.
Mundo Deportivo believe Barcelona are also interested in signing Neves as it becomes apparent he wants to leave the Midlands, with the Spanish outlet’s story coming after Sport revealed that Arsenal plan to bid for him in 2023.
Neves – who Wolves paid £15.8m for – will enter the final 12 months of his contract at the end of the season, so Arsenal or Barcelona have a good chance of luring him away from Wolves for a cut-price fee.
The 25-year-old has made 11 appearances in all competitions for Wolves so far this season, scoring two goals while also taking over the captaincy from Conor Coady, following his move to Everton.

Wolves could decide to keep Neves until July 2024 when his contract officially ends, but seeing as he wants to leave the Midlands, we presume they will decide to cash in while they still have the opportunity.
Interestingly, Mundo Deportivo believe Barcelona view the Wolves No.8 as a successor for Sergio Busquets.
Arsenal could land a bargain in Ruben Neves
Due to his contract situation, Arsenal could land themselves a bargain midfield addition next summer.
Neves boasts a tremendous amount of experience in England, having racked up 151 Premier League appearances and 42 Championship outings for Wolves since joining from Porto in 2017.
Therefore, he wouldn’t need much time to settle in north London, while he would also presumably become a leader under Mikel Arteta seeing as he holds the armband at Wolves.
In addition to Wilfried Zaha – another target for Arsenal, one who sees his contract expire in July – Edu could bring two of the best in the Premier League to north London for bargain fees.
