Sasa Kalajdzic is apparently being lined up as a replacement for Erling Haaland just weeks after saying he wants to move to Liverpool, the Independent report.
The Stuttgart forward raised eye brows last month when he told Bild that a move to Liverpool would appeal to him.
But it seems that another potentially big move may come about for the forward, even if Jurgen Klopp’s side don’t come calling.
The Independent say that West Ham are keen to purchase the £15 million striker (BILD), but it is Borussia Dortmund who are leading the race.
Dortmund apparently see him as a potential replacement for Haaland, who could well leave in the summer.
Haaland, himself, has actually been linked with Liverpool – but that move appears unlikely, given Klopp’s side’s limited funds.

If Liverpool did have an interest in signing Kalajdzic after his comments, their task now looks very difficult though.
Dortmund will surely be an appealing move for the 23-year-old, who has netted 13 goals in 26 Bundesliga games this term.
