Marko Grujic has apparently accepted that he will have to leave Liverpool to gain regular first team football, the Athletic report.
Liverpool are apparently confident that they can raise £15 million for the Serbian, who is now edging closer to the exit door at Anfield.
Grujic has spent the past season out on loan at Porto, and when he returned he apparently had visions of breaking into Liverpool’s team.
The departure of Georginio Wijnaldum means that Jurgen Klopp’s options in midfield have lessened.
However, it appears that there is still no room for Grujic.
Liverpool simply have too many other players ahead of him in the pecking order, and it has now apparently been decided that it will be best for all parties if they do move on.

£15m – good for Liverpool
If Grujic does leave Liverpool, the money raised from his sale could aid them.
The Reds have already brought in Ibrahima Konate, but they may be hoping to do more rebuilding work to their squad in the coming weeks.
Liverpool performed below expectations last term, after suffering heavily with injury problems – although they did eventually claim a top four spot.
And the fact that Klopp’s side made it into the Champions League, combined with Grujic’s impending sale money, should provide Liverpool with ample funds to spend on new players this summer.
