Juan Foyth wants to stay at Tottenham Hotspur and fight for his place, despite rumours linking him with Leeds United, according to ESPN.
Foyth has barely featured for Tottenham under Jose Mourinho, and there have been suggestions that he could depart, with Leeds particularly interested.
The Sun have claimed that Leeds are lining up a £15 million bid for the Argentine defender, with Mourinho considering cashing in on him.
However, Foyth actually apparently wants to stay at Spurs and fight for his place under Mourinho.
Whether that is a wise decision is very much up for debate, as his chances of breaking into Tottenham’s team seem slim.

Mourinho has generally overlooked Foyth so far, and he isn’t the type of defender who has usually appealed to the Portuguese manager throughout his career.
Foyth’s main strengths lie in his technical qualities, rather than his defensive abilities, and he will surely have to perform remarkably well in training to win over Mourinho now.
