According to Sabah, Marcelo Bielsa has held a surprise meeting with Fenerbahce with his future at Leeds clouded in uncertainty.
What’s the story?
Well, as you may know, the £154,000-a-week Leeds man only signs one-year contracts, so he would be free to leave this summer if he wants to.
Sabah believe Joachim Löw – who won the World Cup with Germany – is top of Fenerbahce’s list, with Jorge Jesus and Roger Schmidt also in contention.
However, Fenerbahce President Ali Koc is keen to ensure he has plenty of backup options, so a surprise meeting was held with Bielsa.
Sabah add that the Argentine would be open to managing the Turkish giants if he does depart Elland Road this summer.
Since arriving in Yorkshire, Bielsa has overseen 167 games for Leeds, winning 81, drawing 30 and losing 56.
Impressively, the 66-year-old has averaged 1.63 points per game.
Leeds have options if Marcelo Bielsa leaves

By the sounds of it, Leeds are preparing themselves for Bielsa’s departure, just in case the South American does call it a day at Elland Road.
According to The Telegraph, the Whites have constructed a shortlist of three names who could replace the former Marseille boss.
Carlos Corberan – who used to work as an Under-23 coach at Leeds – is on the radar, while ex-Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde is also in contention.

Lastly, Jesse Marsch is also a potential replacement for Bielsa – the American is currently unemployed after leaving RB Leipzig.
Clearly, the Premier League outfit are preparing themselves for Bielsa to leave, whether he goes this summer, or in 2023.
