The Senegalese forward has been a massive failure at Goodison Park.

Niasse arrived at Everton in a deal reported by The Telegraph to be worth £13.5 million.

But he arrived injured and not ready for English football. He ended up playing just seven times and scoring no goals – failing to impress the Everton faithful.

He was also arrested on suspicion of assault in March, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.

This summer he was not handed a squad number by Everton and Ronald Koeman made it clear he should consider a move away from the club if he wants to play regular football this season.

He has been linked with Hull City and Galatasaray, but it appears that he could return to Russia.

The Liverpool Echo report that Lokomotiv Moscow want to bring him back to the club whilst Spartak Moscow are also keen on bringing him back to the Russian Premier League.

Everton will not particularly mind which team it is that snaps him up today, as they simply want the flop signing off their books as soon as possible.

But perhaps a move back to Russian football will be best for the Senegalese attacker.
