Hector Bellerin wants to quit Arsenal and join Inter Milan during the summer transfer window, according to Calciomercato.
The Serie A champions must sign a new right-back after selling Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint-Germain. The French giants paid €60m (£51.5m) plus a further €8m (£7m) in add-ons for the Moroccan, who AS had claimed Mikel Arteta wanted to bring to north London.
Inter chiefs have been working relentlessly to discover Simone Inzaghi’s new full-back, with several candidates studied. The Nerazzurri will continue to examine their options carefully as any arrival must fit their reduced economic capacity.

But Inter have two leading candidates in PSV Eindhoven star Denzel Dumfries and Arsenal speedster Bellerin. Inzaghi would gladly welcome Dumfries to the San Siro, where contact has already been made with his agent, Mino Raiola, and will soon speak with PSV.
The Nerazzurri also feel Dumfries would have an edge over Bellerin due to the Spaniard’s long spell out injured. But to the 26-year-old’s advantage, the Gunners have already made clear they are open to doing a deal, while the defender has expressed his desires to join.
However, Arsenal are still causing Inter problems in their pursuit of Bellerin. The Gunners are demanding a €20m (£17m) obligation to buy the defender next year in any loan transfer. But the Nerazzurri would prefer the clause to be optional and, ideally, at a lesser fee.
Calciomercato feel an agreement between the two clubs is close, though. With PSV wanting at least €20m (£17m) to sell Dumfries after he shone for the Netherlands at Euro 2020.
Bellerin looks set for Inter after a decade at Arsenal
Bellerin has been at Arsenal for the last decade but now looks set for pastures new with Inter Milan. Contact between the Spaniard and Serie A champions was noted by Gianluca di Marzio around two weeks ago, while Sport later added that he was Inzaghi’s top target.
With the Gunners also open to the full-back leaving on loan, his arrival would certainly suit the Nerazzurri financially, too. All that really remains is for Inter to agree on an obligation to buy Bellerin from Arsenal and the deal will likely be done for the £110,000-a-week dynamo.
