According to The Guardian, Tottenham Hotspur winger Jack Clarke is not in the plans of head coach Jose Mourinho this season.

The report has claimed that Mourinho now has to make a decision on the former Leeds United player – who can also play as a forward.

Tottenham Hotspur spell

Clarke joined Tottenham from Leeds in the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee reported by The Sun to be worth £10 million.

The 19-year-old was immediately sent back to Leeds on a season-long loan deal, but the teenager failed to play regularly at Elland Road and was recalled by Spurs.

The England Under-20 international was then sent out on loan at Queens Park Rangers in the Championship, and the winger did not have a great time at Mark Warburton’s side either.

According to WhoScored, Clarke played just 19 minutes in the Championship for Leeds last season, and he played only 140 minutes in the league for QPR.

Going out on loan again

If Clarke is not in Mourinho’s plans this season, then it would make sense for him to go out on loan again, perhaps to a club in the Championship aiming for promotion to the Premier League.
