Brentford goalkeeper David Raya is ‘hugely excited’ that he is being linked with Arsenal now, the Telegraph say.
Arsenal are said to have lined up Raya as a potential target, if they lose Emi Martinez this summer.
Raya has worked with Arsenal goalkeeper coach Inaki Cana Pavon before, which should help him adjust if he does move to the Emirates Stadium.
And Raya seems to be hoping that Arsenal do come in for him.
Although the Spaniard would likely arrive as second choice, the move would represent a considerable step up to one of England’s elite clubs.
There is huge excitement about the future for the Gunners under Mikel Arteta, meaning Raya could potentially be joining at a great time, if Arsenal do sanction a move.

Raya could be a solid option to replace Martinez too, as he has proven his quality at Championship level.
The 24-year-old has been first choice at both Brentford and Blackburn Rovers in recent seasons and is regarded as one of the best stoppers in the division.
If Arsenal are to sign Raya they will have to pay £10 million, according to 90 Minutes.
