Leicester City midfielder Nampalys Mendy is in advanced talks with Udinese and Trabzonspor as the £10 million man closes in on a move away from the King Power Stadium, according to Le10 Sport.
If the Foxes signed two players in an attempt to fill an N’Golo Kante shaped void at the heart of their engine room, it is fair to say one has done far better than the other.
While Wilfred Ndidi has established himself as one of the most influential and complete performers in the Premier League, perhaps even outshining Kante himself in the last couple of seasons, Mendy has spent most of his time in the Midlands collecting dust on the sidelines.
A £10 million signing from Nice four years ago, Mendy has made just five Premier League appearances in 2019/20, with a grand total of three of those coming from the start.
With his contract due to expire in July as it stands, the 27-year-old is entering his final few weeks as a Leicester player. But he will not be short of offers when he drops into the free-agent pool.

Le10 Sport claims that Kasimpasa are in talks to add Mendy to a squad already containing Czech Republic international David Pavelka and Portuguese veteran Ricardo Quaresma.
A move to Italy is also on the cards with Udinese interested. The Little Zebras will have no chance of luring Mendy to the Stadio Fruili if they are relegated, however.
Udinese are currently sitting just three points above the relegation zone.
