Reported Everton target Diogo Dalot will be allowed to leave Manchester United if they sign Sergio Reguilon this summer, the Manchester Evening News report.

The Daily Mirror said a month ago that Carlo Ancelotti was keen on signing Dalot for Everton and he believed he could get him for just £10 million.

And it seems that Ancelotti’s prediction may be about to come true.

Dalot is already struggling for game time at United, so Reguilon’s arrival would spell disaster for him if he was to stay at Old Trafford.

A move to Everton could, therefore, appeal if it does become an option.

Everton are yet to sign a right-back this summer, so there could be a space for the Portuguese.

At the moment Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may want to keep hold of Dalot in case of emergency.

But if the £23 million-rated (ESPN) Reguilon joins then he will have Aaron Wan-Bissaka and the Spaniard to compete at the back, and Dalot could find himself surplus to requirements.
