According to the BBC, Paris Saint-Germain are set to make another attempt to take Dele Alli away from his Tottenham nightmare next month.

The Ligue 1 champions attempted to sign the England international back in the summer, although Daniel Levy refused to agree to a deal with the Parisians.

Now, however, the BBC state that Thomas Tuchel’s side will once again make an attempt to sign the former MK Dons maestro on loan in January.

It is also mentioned in the BBC‘s report that he is almost certain to leave Spurs next month, unless the situation changes drastically.

Jose Mourinho described Alli as ‘not a happy player’ after last night’s Europa League win over Royal Antwerp.

The Independent quote the ex-Chelsea boss as saying: ‘Let’s not run away from reality. A player on the bench who realises all five subs have been used of course is not a happy player and I would not expect him to be happy.’

Tottenham’s No.20 – who earns £100,000-a-week in north London – wasn’t even brought off the bench against the Belgian outfit, as his lack of playing time continues.

The BBC also mention that Alli has not been involved in any of Mourinho’s Premier League matchday squads since the 6-1 win against Manchester United on October 4th.

As the season goes on, the 24-year-old’s future at Tottenham is looking more and more bleak.

Despite his situation, there’s no denying that Alli has bundles of talent.

In 230 appearances for the north Londoners, the Englishman has netted 64 goals and has also assisted 56 more.

It would be a shame to see him leave, although if we were in Alli’s shoes, we’d be encouraged by PSG’s perseverance and desire.
