According to talkSPORT, Theo Walcott is likely to leave Everton for Southampton this summer after impressing Ralph Hasenhuttl.
The £100,000-a-week forward has spent the current campaign on loan at Southampton from Everton, where he’s scored two goals in 17 Premier League appearances.
While that tally isn’t great, talkSPORT claim that the Saints have been ‘absolutely blown away’ by the 32-year-old’s efforts.
The £20 million Everton forward is said to have impressed the Saints with his leadership skills, fitness levels and performances on the field.
TalkSPORT add that Ralph Hasenhuttl is keen to sign Walcott on a long-term contract in the summer.
If that does happen, it would be a deal that suits both parties.

Everton have moved on from the 47-cap England international, who never really set Goodison Park alight following his move from Arsenal.
Even the likes of Moise Kean – who has 17 goals for Paris Saint-Germain this season – couldn’t get a look-in under Carlo Ancelotti, so Walcott surely has little hope.

The Sam Allardyce signing only scored 11 goals in 85 appearances for the Toffees, along with nine assists.
By the sounds of it, Southampton are very happy to take their academy graduate back, and Everton would be more than happy to part ways.
As far as mutually beneficial deals go, this one would be right up there.
