Ross Barkley wants to leave Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea and move to Frank Lampard’s Everton in the summer transfer window, according to 90min.
90min have reported that Everton are in advanced talks to bring Barkley back from Chelsea this summer.
The report has claimed that the £100,000-a-week (SalarySport) attacking midfielder himself wants to return to the Toffees where he started his professional club football career.
90min have added that if Barkley were to join Everton this summer, then it would be a permanent deal.
Should Everton re-sign Ross Barkley from Chelsea?
In our view, Chelsea attacking midfielder Ross Barkley would not be a bad signing for Everton.

The 28-year-old was brilliant at the Toffees and was a regular in the England squad, before he moved to Chelsea in 2018.
Barkley has struggled at the Blues, and his loan spell at Aston Villa in 2020-21 was not exactly great either.
We saw how good the Englishman was at Everton, and maybe returning to familiar surroundings could help him get back to his best.
After all, Barkley is still only 28, and his best years are ahead of him.
Barkley has scored 29 goals and created 39 big chances in 232 Premier League appearances so far in his career.
