Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to sign the Ajax midfielder.

According to a report from Spanish media outlet AS, Tottenham are keen on signing Ajax ace Donny van de Beek, but they face competition from seven other clubs, including the likes fo Real Madrid and Manchester United.
Spurs have already made some big waves in the transfer market this summer, signing Jack Clarke from Leeds and Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon.
It seems as though Mauricio Pochettino’s business is far from finished, however.
Spanish publication AS claims that Tottenham are still in for Van de Beek after the Dutchman’s stellar campaign last season, but seven other clubs also want the talented midfielder.
The 22-year-old racked up an impressive 17 goals and 13 assists in 57 appearances in all competitions for the Dutch side, and he would be the perfect partner for Ndombele in the heart of Spurs’ midfield.

Van de Beek will be available for around €55 million (£49 million) this summer, according to AS, so Tottenham will surely have to move on Christian Eriksen before they can even consider bringing the Holland international to north London.
And if Spurs are successful in their pursuit of the Ajax ace, they will be in a great position from which to challenge for the Premier League title next season.
