Former Tottenham Hotspur prospect Reo Griffiths is off the mark for Lyon’s academy.

Reo Griffiths made a controversial decision to quit Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
Griffiths scored at a prolific rate for Tottenham’s academy side, netting 27 goals in 20 games last season.
For reasons yet to be clarified, Griffiths felt his best chance of future success was by leaving Spurs and signing with Lyon.
His spell in France has been quiet so far, and that has been because Griffiths has not been fully fit.
Last week he made his under-19 debut and then this past weekend marked his second appearance with a goal.
His strike was a close range finish, a classic predator’s goal.

Griffiths is still returning to full fitness and will take huge confidence from getting off the mark.
His first few months in France will not have been easy, sitting out, adjusting to a new culture and being away from friends and family.
There were big hopes that Griffiths could make it and become a star at Tottenham.
He has chosen a different path, and belatedly, he is getting to work on trying to show it was the right move for him.
