Tottenham Hotspur have sent Marcus Edwards out on loan to Norwich City until the end of the season.

Reo Griffiths may have moved ahead of Marcus Edwards in the Tottenham Hotspur selection order, with the pair’s careers heading in different directions over recent times.
Edwards was touted as Spurs’ most exciting prospect no too long ago, with Mauricio Pochettino even drawing comparisons up between the young forward and Lionel Messi.
However, Edwards’ development has arguably not gone to plan over the last year.

The 18-year-old forward has seen his attitude questioned by Pochettino, and was sent out on loan to Norwich City in January.
Edwards is still yet to make an appearance for Norwich, and once again his attitude has been questioned by Norwich boss Daniel Farke.
In his absence, Griffiths has been quickly making a name for himself at Spurs, with the striker’s performances for the under-18’s getting better and better.

Griffiths scored a hat-trick in Tottenham’s youngster’s last outing, with the forward earning a great deal of plaudits.
And Edwards may now return to Spurs with another obstacle between him and the first-team, meaning he is going to have to really knuckle down if he is going to prove to Pochettino he deserves a place in Tottenham’s senior side.
