Some Arsenal fans on social media have once again been raving over Bukayo Saka after his impressive performance against Southampton on Tuesday evening.
The teenager again showed exactly why he’s been touted as one of the brightest young talents in the Premier League, providing a goal and an assist as Arsenal got revenge on the Saints for knocking them out of the FA Cup.
The youngster was absolutely electric, and aside from the energy and pace you’d expect a player of his age to have, it was his incredible composure and technical ability that shined against Southampton.
Indeed, his goal mirrored something you’d expect to see from a player like Ronaldo back when he was playing for Inter Milan, while his assist showed a maturity that even some veteran players don’t have.
Fans were quick to compare him to stars of years gone by, with names such as Robert Pires and Cesc Fabregas being mentioned online, perhaps the most apt comparison was to Samir Nasri.
Saka certainly looks as though he’s capable of hitting the heights of the aforementioned trio, and we can’t wait to watch him develop over the next decade or so.
