Aston Villa fans were left wowed by some of the goals Bertrand Traore was scoring in training this week.

Footage emerged from Bodymoor Heath of the Villa winger calmly slotting home a number of goals, as posted by the club’s Twitter account.

One of the goals, a cool finish into the bottom corner, is something the Villa Park faithful have seen before from their £17 million player (Sky Sports).

Against West Brom last season, Traore scored a similar goal at the Hawthorns and he is just showing that practice makes perfect.

On Boxing Day, Traore returned to action following an injury lay-off during Villa’s defeat to Chelsea and he will be hoping for more minutes against Brentford.

The Villa Park faithful want to see some of that training ground magic in the capital today, as Steven Gerrard’s side look to get back to winning ways.

During the reverse fixture in August, the Midlands side recorded a 1-1 draw against the Bees, but Dean Smith was in charge back then.

Not only that, John McGinn missed that game because he had to self-isolate and supporters will be hoping that he is back in action today.

The all-action Scotsman missed Villa’s Boxing Day showdown because of COVID issues and his aggression was missed in the middle of the park.

Whilst McGinn could return, it perhaps will be too early for Traore to start because he still needs to build up his fitness.

Although, this will be his final game for Villa before he departs for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Nonetheless, here is a selection of Villa fans reacting to Traore in training this week:
