Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter in amazement after watching a 12-second clip of Miguel Azeez playing in the Papa John’s Trophy.
The footage shows the Gunners wonderkid pulling off a turn similar to Dennis Bergkamp’s famous flick against Newcastle.
After his mesmeric turn in the 3-0 defeat to AFC Wimbledon, Azeez then pings a delightful cross-field pass straight to the feet of his teammate.
You can see why the 18-year-old is so highly-rated at the Emirates.
Earlier this year, Football London wrote a detailed analysis of the teenager’s match-winning display in the 2-1 win over Crawley Town.

Azeez scored the winning goal, and delivered a performance which prompted Football London to describe him as the next Bukayo Saka.
At the time, that might’ve seemed a bit far-fetched, although pieces of brilliance such as his Bergkamp-esque turn justifies the hype surrounding this precocious talent.
Mikel Arteta even included Azeez in his squad for the 3-0 Europa League win over Norwegian side Molde.

It is good to see the prospect’s performances for the development side rewarded by Pep Guardiola’s former assistant.
Azeez has an abundance of talent, and it is now up to the Gunners to ensure that his development runs smoothly and not an ounce of potential is wasted.
Let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about his flick…
