Some Leeds United fans on social media have been raving over Raphinha after his performance against Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds didn’t play their best stuff against the Seagulls as they laboured to a 1-0 loss, struggling to really create any chances, but one man who looked like a bright spark was Raphinha.

The winger was deployed on the left for Leeds today opposed to his natural position on the right, but he still looked every bit as dangerous down that side.

Leeds may not have scored against Brighton, but they carved out some decent chances, and those were mostly down to the work Raphinha was putting in.

Raphinha completed 5 dribbles against Brighton, which was a higher tally than any other Leeds player, and that’s in spite of the fact he came off with 15 minutes to go, a decision that a number of supporters weren’t too happy with.

On top of his dribbling exploits, the Brazilian also put in 5 crosses and played one key pass, but unfortunately, the Whites couldn’t make the most of his positive play, failing to find the back of the net.

Fortunately, Leeds fans could see the positives in the winger’s game, and they were quick to give him the praise he deserves on social media.

Here’s what the Elland Road faithful have been saying online…
