Some Liverpool fans on social media have been full of praise for Jordan Henderson after his performance against Everton.
The midfielder was brilliant against the Toffees. He scored the opening goal of the game, and he only built on his performance from there.
In typical fashion, Henderson covered every blade of grass and ran the show from the midfield.
Along with his goal, Henderson also managed to grab an assist and fans were purring over his performance.
The midfielder was absolutely brilliant, and some supporters even drew comparisons to Steven Gerrard, while another supporter claimed that Henderson is in fact better than Jorginho after the Italian finished 3rd in the Ballon d’Or voting this week.
Henderson certainly put on a show at Goodison Park and this may be a derby performance that lives long in the memory.
