Some Liverpool fans on social media have been raving over the performance of Takumi Minamino after their game against Crystal Palace.
To be far, Liverpool fans were speaking highly of almost every player on social media as the Reds demolished the Eagles in what has to be described as their best performance of the season so far, but one player that clearly stood out was Minamino.
The Japanese forward hasn’t had the easiest of times at Liverpool so far, often struggling to break into the starting XI, but at Selhurst Park he showed exactly what he was about.
Minamino got Liverpool off to a flier by scoring within minutes of kick-off, and from there the Reds just ran rampant.
He may have only found the back of the net once, but his overall showing was nothing short of incredible.
Fans online were quick to praise a number of different aspects of his game including his first touch and his movement, with one supporter even claiming that his ball control reminds him of former Ballon d’Or winner Pavel Nedved.
