Some Tottenham fans on social media have been fawning over Jamie Donley after his heroics in the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday evening.
The striker made a massive impact off the bench for Tottenham’s U18s and he proved to be the decisive factor in the tie, scoring twice and assisting once in extra time as the London outfit won 3-0.
It was a cagey match, ending 0-0 after 90 minutes, but in extra-time the substitute decided to turn on the style and it’s fair to say that he took the game by the scruff of the neck.
As you can probably imagine, Tottenham supporters had plenty to say about Donley’s performance.
Spurs seem to be blessed with a a number of talented young strikers at the moment, with the likes of Troy Pattott and Dane Scarlett tipped for big things, but it seems as though Donley could be another top talent.
