It is not just at first-team level that Rangers’ strikers cannot stop scoring.

Alfredo Morelos, Kemar Roofe (both five), Cedric Itten (two) and Jermain Defoe (one) are all up and running for the campaign.

And there appears to be something in the water at the Rangers Training Centre, after Chris McKee found the net for the seventh and eighth time this season on Tuesday.

McKee is now far and away the Gers’ most prolific youth-team player since the start of the campaign.

And the following Rangers fans predict big things to come for the 18-year-old Northern Irishman…

McKee is in his third season at Rangers, having arrived in Glasgow from Linfield two-and-a-half years ago.

The Gers kid claimed to have turned down Everton in order to do so.

And, with the likes of the Toffees already aware of his talent, Rangers would be wise to consider an extension to McKee’s contract, which is thought to expire at the end of this season, especially if his recent form continues.
