Some Aston Villa fans on social media have been raving over Cameron Archer after their U21s’ 4-2 win over MK Dons in the Papa John’s Trophy.
Archer netted twice as Villa strolled to victory and it’s fair to say he impressed the fanbase with his performance.
Villa’s youth team is simply incredible at the moment. They won the FA Youth Cup last season and they have players such as Carney Chukwuemeka, Jacob Ramsey and Louie Barry coming through.
However, it seems as though Archer could be the best of the bunch. He’s a natural goalscorer and he could be a first-team star in years to come.
Villa supporters have had nothing but good things to say about this young star, and some even called for him to get a chance in the first team in the near future.
Archer certainly seems to be a player worth keeping an eye on in years to come.
