The former Everton and England international striker believes that Milner is “remarkable”.
The 34-year-old, who can operate as a midfielder, winger or full-back, started the Premier League game at Anfield and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Jurgen Klopp’s side won 3-0.

Milner played at right-back and gave a very solid performance, as he was strong defensively and did well in attack.
According to WhoScored, the former Newcastle United star took one shot, played five key passes, had a pass accuracy of 85.1%, won one header, took 103 touches, made two tackles, one interception and one clearance, and put in nine crosses.
Important player for Liverpool
Milner may not be guaranteed a place in the Liverpool starting lineup, but the former Leeds United and Aston Villa star remains an important figure at the club.
The Englishman is a very versatile footballer who can play in a number of positions, and it is a boon for the Merseyside club.
